Buddhism in Poland

The first Diamond Way Buddhist centre was started in Krakow in 1976. Since then Buddhism in Poland has been growing dynamically. Today one can find a centre or a group of practitioners in nearly every Polish city.

People who feel interested in Diamond Way Buddhism meet there to meditate or listen to  Buddhist teachers' lectures. Many centers also invite secondary school students  for organized classes in  ethics, which is a part of the school curriculum. The basic practice in the centers is the Three Lights Meditation, given by the 16th Karmapa Rigpe Dorje as the best tool for Western people.

Meditation sessions are run regularly several times a week. They are read in Polish and last about 30 minutes. Everyone can participate in them for free. They do not require any preparations.
